hello the supporters of Admirals FC..

AFC had a game last sun..
at dunearn sec sch..
against Official 10 FC..

having already lost 2 of AFC league game, now every game must count for a win..
and AFC had their full squad down for the game..

it started off brightly for AFC though..
as soon as the referee blew the whistle, AFC went to score goals..
and just few minutes later, it pays off..
after some brilliant play by AFC, right-mid, zali, managed to put the ball past the goalkeeper..
things were then looking up for the AFC..

AFC made their speed and agility count against big and physically fit team..
and they are not content with just only a goal..
the hunger and determination then paid off..
just after minutes into the 1st goal, the 2nd came..
aliff was the scorer after a cross was blocked and fall nicely into the feet of aliff..
great play at the right hand side..

but O10FC also had their chances..
but AFC defence stood strong..
and great defending by versatile player, nasri, as he blocked a shot after AFC goalkeeper,haffiz, was left stranded out of his goaline..
unfortunate, haffiz was injured in the process and nasri had to go in for goal..
though there are some nervy moments after the change of keeper, AFC managed to score yet again by aliff..

1st half ended 3-0 to the AFC!
changes were made during half-time, seeing the choices AFC had..

2nd half and O10FC made a fight back..
a great fght back too.!
and the lapse of concentration made AFC paid the price..
O10FC managed to score 3 goals within 2o minutes into the 2nd half..
AFC den made changes again in the last 10 minutes of the game to improve the situation..
after coming on again, left-back ipin made his number heard..
he balls was send gloriously from the left back position on a few occasion..
and 1 of it made count..
AFC right mid gave a great run and managed to nod it in to goal just b4 the opposition goalkeeper can try to get the ball..
4-3 it was!
and soon the referee blew the final whistle..

the game ended 4-3 and the victory is a big boost for AFC.!
lets bring the form and scoring boots into the next game guys.!
go Admirals go..!

last sun AFC was back in action..!

a match at punggol sec..
against s'pore pirates FC..
it was a game which the height and physical being of AFC were being tested to the limit..

players were all getting restless cos the ref was late..
due to the scorching hot weather too, most AFC players were hoping for the match to be postponed..
but, it didn't and soon the ref came and the game started..

As soon as the whistle was blown, SPFC immediately went attacking searching for goals..
but AFC defended well and managed to cut down their every attacks..
AFC also had their own attacks..
den a swift counter-attack on the left hand side, saw our left-mid, zali, dribble past few defenders, making a great run and slide the ball to our chief striker, syukri, to score a tap in..
things were then looking great for AFC..
SPFC kept the pressure but AFC managed to stay calm..

SPFC den make use of their advantage of heights to send a long throw from the right-hand side to score their equaliser goal..
the goal though was in doubt as AFC left-back was seen to be pushed before SPFC player headed the ball into the net..
the ref paid no attention to it and the goal was given..

1st half ended 1-1..

2nd half started..
AFC made some reshuffling of players and playmaker, khairil, came on..
his height was a greatly missed in the 1st half..
AFC den tried to search for the winning goal by throwing attacks after attacks at SPFC..
there was a few clear cut chances to score but AFC strikers doesn't seem to bring their scoring boot along..
and AFC paid the price..
SPFC tried the same trick of long throw..
1 of their players managed to give a flick the ball for another the smashed the ball in..
but AFC kept goin..!

in the end, it ended 2-1 to the SPFC..
it was a great match though..!
though we could have won had it been other days..

well, AFC, lets bounce back from this defeat..!

Admirals Fc are back..!

another week has passed..
and another match was played..
this was AFC 2nd match into their 2nd season of espzen league..
it was played at st wilfred field..
opponent was Helo Football Club..

HFC was big and tall, but AFC had the speed and agility to overcome the physical liability..
the match started off quite well for AFC..
we maintained ball possession and make our way from the back..
HFC though didn't just sit back and wait for our attacks..
they keep good pressure to win the ball..
after abt 8 mins into the game, AFC lost the ball in the middle of the pitch and 1 of HFC players tried an audacious chip to lop AFC goalkeeper, hafiz, seeing the chance that the keeper was off his line..
lucky enough, the lop went over the bar..
but minutes later, a great through ball to our star striker, syukri, who beat the offside line, gave a curling right foot shot to beat the HFC keeper..
what a marvelous goal it was.!

since then, AFC dominated the half..
attacks after attacks were thrown to the opponent..
finally it paid off..
a cross was deflected by HFC defender, sending the keeper the wrong way, and the ball crept into the net..
2-0 then..
AFC were then high in confidence as they searched for more goals..
in the dying minutes of the half, another goal was scored..
it was from a persistence attacks from AFC which HFC did not do well to clear their line..
scorer was debutant of AFC..

1st half ended 3-0..

2nd half started off the same as the 1st..
going 3-0 down, HFC had the urgency to score and they wasted no time to search for goals..
but shot after shot was kept at bay by hafiz..
it could easily go the other way had hafiz not been in his great form..
but AFC did not sit back and wait for the HFC attacks..
they too searched for more goals..
AFC could had scored more, had they not be too complacent..

it was a great game though..!
it could be a different results in another day..
let keep up this form AFC..!
let bring in the glory....!!!
go AFC go..!

catch another league match report next sunday..
this coming sunday there's no game..
but maybe there's a friendly..
so stay tuned..!

hey3.!

yesterday was Admirals Fc 1st league match of their 2nd season..
sad to say, we lost the match, 3-2..
we gave a great fighting spirit but eventually lost to the swift counter attacks of our opponent..

but, we were to blame too..
we came late..
match starts at 11 but we reached at 11:15 and had to play the 1st 10 mins wif only 10 men..

so AFC, learn from this lesson..

about the match, we started off well..
we tried to attack and tried to hold of our opponent attacks..
our goalkeeper, hafiz, was in great form..
denying our opposite number time and time again..
we created chances but did not put them into good use..
in the end, we paid a price for that..
from an attack on the left, a teasing cross became a problem for our defence and conceded an own goal..

after conceding, AFC tired to equalize but to no avail..
1st half ended 1-0..

2nd half and AFC tried their best to put pressure and find the equalising goal..
soon, it came..
from a unconfident clearance from the opponent goal keeper, found our playmaker, khairil..
1st volley was blocked by a defender, but the 2nd rebound volley, went looping in the net..

it was den game on..
but soon, 10 mins later, AFC concede again..
the morale for AFC were in doubts..
but we give a great fighting spirit..
a free kick from outside the penalty area..
it was taken by our right back, asri..
a swirling freekick deceived the goalkeeper, but hit the post..
jali came 1st to get the rebound after a dummy..
2-2 it was..!

AFC tired attacks after attacks to get the winning goal and left holes in the defence line..
and the swift counter attacks by the opponent was a great deal of pressure..
in the dying 5 mins of the game, the counter attacks was hard to handle..
it prove to be the decisive touch as their striker managed to give a left-footed shot into the top corner of our goal, even with the company of 3 defenders..

final whistle blows and AFC lost..
but it was a great match..!
lets looks forward to the next game aites Admirals..!

and3, AFC had a ghost hunting journey after the game..
hohoho.!

alright guys.!

Admirals Fc is back rolling the ball..!
fyi, we won champions in the last league of division 9 and now we are in division 6.!

started off last sun, 11/01/08..
we had a friendly against simei utd at bukit timah pitch, organized by espzen..

the league will commence tis wk, 18/01/08..
a match at braddell field..

talking abt the friendly..
we won, which could be a great boost rite b4 the league starts..
3-1..
goin into this match, AFC were without fitness for some period of time..
but we showed determination and hunger, just like the previous league, to win..
a fully on form striker, muadz, showed his shooting skills by scoring 2 goals from outside the penalty area..
jali scored too..

in the end, AFC emerged victorious..!

last game of the league..!
a game which will decide whether AFC are CHAMPIONS or runner-up..

a debut season for AFC and they are hungry for a win..
the match started off well..
attacks from both sides as both teams went in searched for the opener..

the 1st goal came through for AFC after a great delivery from the left hand side corner kick..
our newly recruited CB, wei gen, met the ball with a great header, leaving the keeper in no-man's land..
but 1 of BFC player handled the ball to keep it out of goal only to be sent off by the ref & awarded AFC a penalty kick..
GOAL, it was as our top scorer, syukri, took the spot-kick..

2nd goal came just minutes after..
after persistance attacks from AFC, syukri managed to sneak in another goal..
but lapse of concentration saw AFC conceding 1 goal..
1st half ended 2-1...

2nd half started & AFC were not going to throw their lead away, which would den saw them the CHAMPIONS..
they continued their momentum, which proved vital as the 3rd goal came, yet from another corner, which met the head of CM playmaker, khairil..
AFC tried attacks after attacks to seal the game but the resilience defence of BFC kept them at bay..

minutes before the final whistle, CB, firdaus, was sent off after a 2nd yellow..
den, BFC managed to turn the game back on scoring their 2nd goal of the game, after a great work on the right hand side..
tension were high as AFC can't wait for the final whistle to be blown..

in the end, the referee blew the final whistle..!
3-2 were the scoreline & AFC were the CHAMPIONS of the Division 9 league..!
Congrats Amirals FC..!
lets look forward to our next season in Jan..
dun let ur fitness down..!
